Tracy Oliver is the founder of Skycastle Media, a San Francisco area public relations and creative services firm. Prior to founding Skycastle Media, she served as a corporate communications executive and has helped launch a succession of startups ending in one merger and two IPOs  Among other venues, Tracy’s writing has appeared or is pending publication in Contrary Magazine, Room Magazine, SoMa Literary Review, and on KQED, San Francisco’s NPR affiliate. Currently, she is working on a novel that merges literary fiction with psychological suspense.

Laurel Hunter, Fiction Editor Laurel Hunter

Laurel Hunter’s writing has appeared in The Berkeley Fiction Review, New Woman Magazine, Urban Action Magazine and others.  In addition to fiction writing, Laurel has authored a number of stage plays and has written, directed and produced two feature films. She is the recipient of a Lawrence and Lee Playwriting Award and a Highsmith Playwriting Award. She was also a winner of the Bay Area Women's Playwriting Competition. Her feature films include, Something Better which received the Best of Festival Award from the Berkeley Video and Film Festival and Golden Film Festival’s, Kim Ataide Award for Best Feature, Best Director and Best Actress. Her most recent film, The Highway Home premiered in 2008 and is the winner of Berkeley Video & Film Festival’s, Peace Reel Special Recognition Award. Laurel is currently working on the final rewrite of Passenger and Other Stories, a collection of 13 works of short fiction. She received her degree in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University.

Adele Mendelson

Adele Mendelson, Poetry Editor

Adele Mendelson has written three volumes of poetry including In Celebration of Myself, Gardens: A Book of Poetry and her most recent work, Only in a Body. She taught English at the University of California at Berkeley while raising a family and developing her craft. Adele is regularly a featured reader at San Francisco area literary venues and has helped foster a vibrant and growing community of poets and writers in the East Bay, where she lives.

Laura Riggs, Events Director/Head Party Girl

Laura Riggs is an architect and writer who lives in Berkeley, California. Her fiction and creative non-fiction have appeared (or are forthcoming) in Alimentum, AlterNet, Apparatus Magazine, BluePrintReview, Exquisite Corpse, Metazen, Monkeybicycle, Pindeldyboz, The SoMa Literary Review, Verbicide, Waccamaw Journal, as well several other journals and anthologies. She is the road grunt, curator, creative director and CEO of Speckled Egg Studios which designs and publishes poetry broadsheets and produces literary readings throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
